Christian counselling service attached to Destiny Church Fife in Dunfermline

ABOUT ME

Commitment

My name is Liz McBride, I am a self-employed Christian counsellor trained in an Integrative model, which includes mainly Christian, Psychodynamic and person-centred theories, touching on cognitive behavioural therapy and creative therapies.

I have over 14 years’ experience of working with clients, helping them explore and work through various issues.

Being integratively trained means that I have a wide knowledge of different counselling theories, which I can use and adapt to suit clients individual needs.

I have worked with people experiencing loss and bereavement, depression, anxiety, anger management, low self-confidence and self-esteem issues, various forms of abuse and many other issues.

Entering psychotherapy means that you are making space in your life for personal growth and change and I am making a commitment to support you in this journey. Therapy is intended to be a supportive, healing and sometimes challenging relationship and if worked through together, can be life changing.
